With heavy hearts, I share the passing of my beloved mother, Marie-Chantal Mukarugwiza, who passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 60.

My mom was a devoted, loving, and selfless woman who dedicated her life to her family, her faith, and her work in education. She raised me with so much strength, care, and unconditional love, and everything I am is because of her. She touched so many lives through her kindness, warmth, and unwavering support.
