It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Marie Rita Porumb (née Mootoosamy). Marie passed away on 8th February 2026 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 88 years old.

Marie was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met. Born on 4th July 1937, she lived a full life marked by kindness, resilience, and love for her family.

We are devastated by this loss and want to give Marie the beautiful send-off she deserves to honour her memory and say our last goodbyes. We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of her funeral and memorial services.

Funeral Arrangements: We invite all those who knew and loved Marie to join us in celebrating her life.
