Our family is facing a journey we never expected.

My wife, Marie, has been diagnosed with an inoperable stage 4 Astrocytoma tumor in her spinal cord. On top of that, she is also battling a brain tumor located behind her eye. The road ahead will be emotional, uncertain, and incredibly challenging.

As we begin this fight, unexpected expenses and medical bills are already mounting, and there are many more ahead. I have stepped away from my job to become Marie’s full-time caregiver, alongside our daughter AbbyMae. One thing we know for certain, Marie will not go through any of this alone.

We will be making frequent trips to Mayo Clinic for radiation treatments and ongoing care, doing everything we can to give Marie strength and comfort through this.

Marie is a woman of deep faith. She loves God with all her heart and has always lived as a faithful servant. She takes care of her body, prioritizes healthy living, and pours love into those around her.

While God’s plan can feel confusing in moments like these, our faith remains strong. We trust that He is perfect, that He will never fail us, and that He is walking with us through every step of this challenge.
