In loving memory of Karen Lisa Woolner, her family are raising funds for Marie Curie in gratitude for the incredible care, compassion, and support they gave her over more than three years during her brave fight against ovarian cancer. Marie Curie’s nurses and staff not only helped Karen manage her illness with dignity and comfort, but also supported her family through the most difficult moments. Karen sadly lost her battle on 24 January 2026, but her kindness, strength, and spirit will never be forgotten. By donating, we hope to honour her memory and help Marie Curie continue their vital work for other families facing similar journeys.
