Funeral for Marie-Ange Blaise killed in ICE custody

Marie-Ange Blaise, a Haitian citizen with a valid US work visa, was detained by ICE in February this year, while returning to mainland US.

On April 26, 2025, she died in ICE custody. She was only 44. She should never have been apprehended to begin with.

Her family wants to transport the body back to her home in California for a proper funeral and burial. This is what the funds raised here will be used for.
