Some may know and some may not but my mom was diagnosed with a type of brain cancer called “Astrocytoma” back in November 2019. Since then it has been quite a journey when it all started with her health declining in August 2019.  As of now she is currently on life support and the doctors say her time here is limited. The cancer is now spreading towards other parts of her brain and spinal cord which is not allowing her to respond at all. Like most people we weren’t prepared for any of this and we still thought she would have lots of years left. My mom is 50 years of age which is still very young. She was a very hard worker. She is a strong-willed and independent person for those that didn’t get a chance to know her very well. For those that knew her, her memory will live on through you guys. Remember the good times that you had and not the current memory of her being on life support. She would want to be celebrated as much as she can and not be pitied. Unfortunately, we still cannot go and visit her in her final days but prayers will always be welcomed for her. As I go through this next phase, I would just like to say in advance thank you to those that will be able to help in case I can’t say so or don’t get a chance to. I understand that we all are going through hard times but every little bit helps.
