My brother, Ron, recently visited the Philippines. While there, he discovered that our first cousin, Maricel Dullas, was in desperate need of medical treatment. With the help of other relatives, he was able to take her to the local hospital. She has been diagnosed with stage IV metastatic breast cancer. She also has other ailments and is unable to walk and care for herself.

Maricel lives with her elderly mother, her mother's older sister, her younger sister, Siony, and her son, Stephen. Prior to her falling ill, Maricel tirelessly worked and was the family’s main source of income. Maricel can no longer work. She also needs constant medical treatment and assistance to accomplish the most basic daily tasks.

“Family over everything” is a phrase we live by. Maricel is family and she needs our help. Please donate whatever you are comfortable with. Donations will go directly to Maricel’s medical treatment and assistance for daily expenses. She will be admitted to St. Pio's Medical Center in Iba, Zambales on February 16, 2024. Her surgery is scheduled for February 18, 2024. Siony will provide updates along the way.
