Sadly we recently found out that our beloved sweet friend and coworker Maribel Peña was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer.  Maribel is loved by all who know her.  She is kind, sweet and loving to all of her friends and family and is a truly wonderful person. Those of us who have the pleasure of knowing her and working with her know what a truly remarkable person she is.  As we can all imagine this period of her life will be extremely difficult  in every way- emotionally, physically, spiritually and financially.  She has begun treatment  which will consist of 4 months of chemotherapy followed by surgery and radiation. She will need all of the support and love that we can give her.
