Mariaville Farm - The Chandler Family
Donation protected
Our family-owned farm has been providing locally raised meats to our community for over 15 years. Unfortunately, a recent fire destroyed our barn, which housed our animals and much of the equipment we use to care for them. The fire took the lives of 300 chickens, as well as many of our bred pigs who were getting ready to give birth. We also lost several pieces of equipment used to care for our animals and maintain our farm. Despite having insurance, we have learned that it will not cover enough to fully rebuild our farm and replace the lost livestock.
We are asking for your help to rebuild our farm and continue our dream of providing locally raised meats to our community. Your donation will go towards rebuilding our barn, purchasing new livestock, and replacing the equipment and housing we lost in the fire. We estimate that we will need to raise approximately $50,000 to recover from the damages caused by the fire. This will help offset the cost of rebuilding the barn, purchasing new equipment, and acquiring new livestock.
With your support, we can overcome this tragedy and continue to provide our community with locally raised meats. Your donation will have a meaningful impact on our ability to rebuild and get back on our feet. We are incredibly grateful for your support during this difficult time and look forward to continuing to serve our community for many years to come. Thank you for considering a donation to our farm.
