On Tuesday, February 23, the Martinez-Zapien family suffered a truly heartbreaking and unimaginable loss; their family matriarch, Maria Luisa Martinez, unexpectedly ended her journey here on Earth and transitioned into Heaven. Maria was just 58 years young and leaves behind five children and 10 grandchildren. Nana, as she was known by grandchildren, was selfless, giving, adventurous and full of life. She loved her family fiercely and was the glue that held them together. Her sudden passing leaves an ache in the hearts of her family and everyone who knew and loved her. As Maria’s family tries to navigate through this heartbreaking time, we kindly ask, if you’re able to, to make a donation towards memorial expenses.
