Maria's Journey: Rent and Medical Relief Needed

Hello friends,

My name is Maria Ruelas. I’m reaching out to ask for financial help during a difficult time in my life. I had originally allowed someone to take over my lease informally while I addressed some personal matters. Unfortunately, because there was no legal agreement in place, this person left without notice, leaving me responsible for several months of unpaid rent and a fine issued in my name.

Now, I’m legally obligated to cover the full amount owed. On top of that, I’ve recently moved in with my sister and need to contribute to our current living expenses. This situation has caused me to fall behind financially, to the point where I’m unable to pay for my medical bills and the daily medication I rely on.

I understand that everyone has responsibilities and hardships, but I am truly struggling. I have a one-year-old child to care for, and I’m doing my best to stay afloat. Any help—no matter how small—would mean the world to me as I try to get back on my feet.
