Dear friends and supporters,

We come to you with a heavy heart to give you an update on our granddaughter Mariana. As many of you may remember, we started a GoFundMe campaign for her back in September, and we were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, prayers, and donations we received.

Mariana has been fighting a tough battle against cancer, and unfortunately, the road has not been easy for her. She had surgery in December to remove one kidney and a partial removal of the other one. Despite undergoing chemo treatment to eradicate any traces of the tumor, we received heartbreaking news just two weeks ago that the cancer had returned.

In the last few days, things took a turn for the worse, and Mariana had to undergo emergency surgery due to one of her tumors rupturing and bleeding into her stomach. The surgery was successful in stopping the bleeding, but Mariana will now need dialysis. It's been a challenging and frightening time for her and her family.

We are staying hopeful that Mariana's indomitable spirit and her parents' unwavering love and support will help her get through this difficult time. But we know that they need all the help and support they can get.

We are reaching out to our community once again to ask for your help.
