Keep Mariana Insured While She Fights COVID

Mariana Pineda is an incredible activist, teacher,  and mother of four. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with COVID 19 in April and never fully recovered. She has been suffering from debilitating 'long haul' effects from the virus. She recently had emergency surgery to remove six blood clots from her lungs and continues to experience chronic exhaustion, with wildly fluctuating oxygen levels and blood pressure. Her pulmonologist says she must stay off her feet and not work for at least the next month. 

Mariana is unable to work and keep her health insurance through her teaching job, so she is now facing Cobra payments of a jaw-dropping $3,062.48 a month. 

She needs our help now because her insurance expires at the end of October. 

We know so many people have been touched by Mariana in her work and life, so this is an opportunity to give back to a woman who gives so much. Please donate what you can so Mariana can continue to see her doctor and get the care she needs to get back on her feet.
