On Wednesday April 6th, 2022 our Awesome Sister & Friend was involved in a tragic electric scooter accident. MiMi Fay sustained multiple fractures to her head & face, concussion/severe brain trauma, large hematoma, body contusions and broken teeth, she was Med flighted to a Miami trauma center where she was in ICU in critical condition, on life support for several days fighting for her life. MiMi was stabilized, regained consciousness only to find she had no recollection of the accident, did not know where she was, why she was in the hospital or why her loved ones were by her side.
The multiple skull fractures, internal bleeding, concussion, contusions and severe brain injury has left MiMi with memory loss, hearing loss, equilibrium/balance problems and the permanent loss of vision in her right eye. For those of you who know the free-spirited MiMi or have even met her acquaintance you know her love of music, the ocean, mermaids, helping and connecting with others understand she needs your support now more than ever. Let’s help MiMi get back on her feet or as she would say “her size 9’s” to the road of recovery and grow a new way to live.
