Mariah's Volleyball Journey to Costa Rica

Hello, I am Mariah’s mom, Lauren. I am setting up this GoFundMe to support our daughter with a once-in-a-life time opportunity. Anyone that knows Mariah can tell you how active and resilient she is in sports. She is a Sophomore at Dieterich High School. She plays school Volleyball and Club Volleyball. Her whole world is focused around volleyball and staying fit to move quicker on the court. She has been selected by an Iowa college coach to play for Team USA in Costa Rica this coming summer, July 2026. While her dad and I save up to make this a possibility, Mariah had the idea to fundraise. The trip consists of a very detailed itinerary, where she will get to play internationally, soak up some therapeutic natural springs, and see the beautiful scenery Costa Rica has to offer while on the 9-day trip. The fees are all-inclusive: jersey, hotel, food, flight, and transportation. This trip is a great opportunity for college recruits or possibly playing volleyball while in the Air Force Academy.
