Mariah's Return to College

My name is Mariah Fortunato and those of you who know me or know part of my story, know that education has been my life saver. I’ve been blessed with being able to attend three different private schools, including boarding school, throughout my life thanks to scholarships and generous individuals who saw my potential. I’m currently a rising sophomore at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, but some recent setbacks have threatened my return to school, so I am asking for some help and support. I was set to return this coming Saturday, August 26th, but without paid tuition, I can’t attend. Both of my parents are unemployed right now and with the recent increase in tuition, I am unable to pay the remaining balance of $5,826 in order to go. My education and graduating from college has been the most important goal for me since I could remember and I have faith that God has not taken me this far in life to leave me now. So any support whether it be donations, prayers, etc., is 100% welcome and appreciated. Your support will not only be helping me continue my college career, but it will also be contributing to the legacy I hope I get the chance to uphold of being the first in my family to attend and graduate from college. Thank you!
