Most of you know my heart and my calling to both the elderly and the field of nursing. Through a series of my life experiences since my move to Florida nearly 6 years ago, including having the opportunity to live and help care for my grandfather in his last year of life, I felt called to become a CNA. I was about 2 years into my career as a CNA when I felt the Lords pull on my heart to become a nurse. This call is straight from the Lord, without him this makes no sense: I live paycheck to paycheck, and I know I am not very strong academically. This is by far the biggest step of faith I have ever taken. I received my acceptance letter on 11/14/20. 3 days later, I have discovered just how expensive it all is just to prepare for this program! The program I've been accepted into is a 13 month LPN program. I plan to be very transparent with my expenses and I will be changing the amount as needed. I have yet to decide if I am going to continue this through the duration of my program. to be honest I'm not sure if I'm even comfortable doing this, but here we are. I've never been in a place where i'm financially able to give monetarily, and if that's you as well, please add me to your prayer list. Prayer is so important and so powerful. I know I can't do this without my people surrounding me in prayer and encouragement. So thank you!!
My list of required practical supplies as a nursing student, so far, has been:

my online cpr course and BLS has come to:

I have a list of immunizations, drug tests, basic life support and cpr recertification to pay for, total amount for those are TBD, but I am assuming they will all come to at least $100.
