Mariah’s message in her own words:

“Last week I found out I have a tumor growing in my sinuses, left eye, and pushing on my brain. Yesterday, I found out it is a type of cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma. The next little bit of my life is going to look different, it’s going to be hard, but I have never been afraid of hard things. My God is BIG and He is good despite all things. This did not surprise Him. I would love it if you would pray for me, and thank you to everyone who has been praying. I’m feeling very cared for and loved.”

Mariah is an amazing single young woman, who works in full-time ministry while going to graduate school. She recently learned she has Stage 3 Rhabdomyosarcoma, a very rare and aggressive cancer when diagnosed in adults. Her doctors and specialized team at MD Anderson are amazing and she is ready to fight this disease. Her treatment course is 42 weeks of chemo, followed by radiation and surgery will be long and difficult and very expensive. To help Mariah cover the costs of all of the additional expenses, her family is creating this GoFundMe in hopes that people will want to help join her in her fight.
