Thank you for supporting the surviving family of an exceptional wife, mother, friend and a true gift to all who have had the pleasure of meeting her.
BACKGROUND
On September 26th, 2020, Maria was seen for respiratory symptoms, thought to be a respiratory tract infection. Within 10 days, she was hospitalized and diagnosed with Stage IV Adenocarcinoma. On November 11, 2020 at 6:48pm, after all avenues for her medical care were exhausted, Maria concluded her valiant fight.
FAMILY
Maria and her husband, Sheldon, were married for 14 years and have two children together (Darlene, 11, and Phillip, 13). Their blended family includes seven adolescent and adult children from their previous marriages (Maureen, 16; Lance, 24; Sargent, 25; Sheldon, 28; John, 28; Shannon, 32; and Shelisa, 32).
LEGACY
Maria had a warm and inviting way about her that was central to cultivating a sense of unity within the Magee family. Her capacity to love and her genuine care for those she encountered touched so many.
