I am a parent at Nea Community Learning Center. I am asking for support for one of our beloved staff members.  She would like to remain anonymous and does not yet know we are getting a gift together for her family. This staff member has been a vital part of our community. This past year she has been dealing with some very serious medical issues for her son, who is also a student at Nea.  Then earlier this month she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Fortunately the doctors were able to do a lumpectomy and gave her a clean bill of health. She was feeling good and back to work in no time. Then she recieved news her youngest son would have to undergo surgery. His surgery happened last week and it went well. He is recovering at home after a few days in the hospital. Needless to say it has been a trying month for this wonderful Nea family. It is my hope our generosity will allow them a little piece of mind. Our donatons will help with missed wages, medical bills and any other unforseen expenses.
