Hello,

My name is Maria Davis. Im 34 years old. I was born in the Philippines.  Where I pursued a career in the medical field as a Registered Nurse specialty in Dialysis.  My dream was to migrate to United States where I would offer my skills, also enhance my career and find a better life and economical future for my family and I. 

After becoming a resident of the United States I started to prepare to sit the boards I also had the intention of having a family of my own later.  I was healthy throughout my life and one of the happiest person one could imagine.

In October 2016 , my golden glory of dreams turned into clusters of dark clouds.  I had a mammogram and was told I had invasive ductal carcinoma in situ of left breast.  Diagnosed as Triple Negative Breast Cancer Advanced Aggressive type . I became mentally crippled from the demoralizing thought of not been able to have a child also the chance of survival that overshadowed me with fear and anxiety.

I am determined to fight for my life.

I would like to have children, My only hopes is by IVF which is costly also I am in need of financial help for treatments. I will undergo adjuvant chemotherapy  at Moffitt Cancer Center   January 2017  for 4 months and surgery after  a month maybe lumpectomy or mastectomy and  breast reconstruction depends how the lump will shrink or not and then radiation therapy after for 4 months so it won't have any recurrence for 2-5 years.
