Con gran pesar, compartimos el fallecimiento de María, ocurrido el 1 de Junio de 2025 en Newark, Nueva Jersey. Psalms 81-84.

Nuestra matriarca es recordada y extrañada profundamente por su genuina compasión, su humor único, su fortaleza de espíritu, su fiel alegría y su amor incondicional. Cualquier contribución, sin importar la cantidad, marcará una diferencia significativa en estos momentos tan difíciles. Su amabilidad y generosidad ayudarán a aliviar la carga financiera de la familia y honrarán el legado a la mujer quien nos entrego tanto amor.

Our devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and dear friend, Maria (Marta) Oquendo de Rodriguez, was born on October 25, 1937 in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Maria, on June 1, 2025, in Newark, New Jersey. Psalms 81-84.

Our matriarch is remembered and deeply missed for her genuine compassion, one of a kind humor, strong spirit, her faithful joy and unconditional love.
