Five months ago, our Aunt Maria Masi received a very sudden and frightening diagnosis. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian cancer. This coming less than 20 years after fighting breast cancer.  Since June of this year she has undergone a full hysterectomy surgery and is now receiving extensive chemotherapy. This intense treatment plan is to battle the cancer that has now spread to her lymph nodes as well as forming polyps in her colon. Maria for the second time is needing to fight for her life.
 
Despite staying positive, the chemo is leaving Maria extremely ill and unable to do many day to day ordinary things. 
 
In hopes of doing all she can to get better, she recently met with a Naturopathic Oncologist.  The Naturopath provided a very comprehensive treatment plan that will work in conjunction with and compliment Maria’s existing chemotherapy regimen. This could potentially provide life-saving cancer care for her.  However, Maria is at a crossroads as she does not have extended benefits nor the financial means to cover the cost of this alternative treatment.
