I've been asked by many neighbors, family, and friends how they can help with easing the burden of losing our sweet mother, wife, sister, daughter, neighbor and friend, Maria Larson. These funds will be used to help with the expense to get family and friends of Maria from Canada to pay their final tributes. There will also be medical bills and final expenses associated with her passing. Maria led a wonderful example of showing love and service to everyone around her. She leaves behind her 4 boys and husband. Nate took Maria into the ER with flu symptoms on Monday the day before she passed, where she tested positive for influenza. She was put on life support within an hour. She was found to be severly septic and her body quickly deteriorated. Everyone worked quickly and aggressively to save her life. She continued to decline and all of her organs shut down. Doctors made the decision to life flight her up north to IMC. She continued to decline and did not respond to aggressive measures. She passed away December 31st, 2019 with her husband and sister by her side. Maria was a kind, generous, selfless person who always served others. We has big shoes to fill. No one can take her place, it leaves an empty hole in our hearts, that nobody will replace, but she leaves behind a wonderful legacy of love and kindness and example of how we all should strive to be.
