Please meet our beautiful, free-spirited sister, Maria Yuen.  Two years ago, Maria and her other half Jeff decided to take a big, yet exciting leap of faith. They decided to downsize and live a sustainable life off the grid. They bought a mobile home that they renovated and moved to the desert outside of San Diego where they gardened and raised chicks. On April 28, while Maria was visiting our family in Maryland and attending the celebration of life for our uncle, she received the devastating call that her home and all its contents were destroyed in a fire. Nothing was salvageable. Luckily, no one was hurt, but the only things Maria has left are the things she brought with her to Maryland in her suitcase. We are asking for your help for Maria and Jeff as they pick up the pieces and start to rebuild their life from scratch. We sincerely thank you for your kind generosity.
