This is a special plea to help a heartbroken family. There are some people you never forget. Max Oseredchuk was one of them. He was the best of us.
Max worked with ABC News and the New York Times in Ukraine. He was a cherished member of both teams.
He was one of life’s protectors. Always thinking about other people before himself. Kind. Calm. Always smiling.
He was a devoted son, a loving husband, a wonderful father, a caring brother, a proud uncle, a loyal friend, a trusted colleague and a teammate anyone would have been lucky to have.
He was simply one of life’s genuinely lovely people.
He was called to the frontline of the Ukraine war earlier this year and on Wednesday 24th June he was killed by a Russian drone. He was 30.
He leaves behind his wife Kateryna and their nine month old baby, Maria. This fundraising page is for Maria. Her future is very different without her brilliant father so we are asking for you to contribute whatever you can to make it a little easier for her and her mother.
