Our beloved Matriarch, Maria Fischer, suddenly passed away this morning. To us she was "MOM", plain and simple. She was the best mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother as well as sister, aunt, cousin, friend.
Mom was a very important part of our family. She just turned 82 two weeks ago but she was still fun, feisty, and loving as ever. She kept in touch with family and friends near and far and prided herself on the many long lasting friendships she had. She loved her family so much and was so proud of all of her children and grandchildren. 

Two years ago, when she turned 80 her life insurance policy which she had been paying on for over 20 years terminated her policy because she was "too old".
Mom was living on a fixed income off of social security so she wasn't able to save much.  The family now has to cover all of the funeral and burial costs. We have created this gofundme in hopes that any donations could help offset the costs. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
