Maria Elena’s (Nena) Funeral Cost

On November 2020 our beautiful mother Maria Elena was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, one of the most aggressive types of cancers. She went from working full-time, to having to be home due to the aggressive chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Despite our mom knowing the odds of beating Pancreatic Cancer, her positivity and will to fight kept her going. Until this day, not once has she complained about her journey. She is one of the strongest, most caring, and compassionate persons that we know. My mother has been our pillar of strength during all the difficult times. Unfortunately on October 2022, we received the devastating news that our mother developed internal bleeding and that the cancer had metastasized. With a heavy heart, we decided that the most humane path for her was hospice. With our hearts in our hand, we humbly ask for help to cover the future funeral costs. The road has not been easy, and as my mother's primary care taker, I also had to leave my job in order to properly care for her, and take her to all of her appointments. This has been such an emotional and difficult time for my family and I. Especially seeing all that our mom is going through. We wish we could take it all away, but know we can't.
