Maria Davis - Funeral Expenses

Hello friends, family and community-

Last week, our beloved Maria Guadalupe Ambriz Davis was having a fun-filled pool day with her kids at home in Riverside. Tragically, an unfortunate jump into the pool caused a traumatic brain injury from which Maria did not recover.

After a week of fighting for her life, the family and her medical team decided it was time to let Maria go peacefully, and on Saturday, September 26th she was taken off life support. A few minutes later, she was reunited with her beloved mother in Jesus's heavenly kingdom.

"Lupe," as most called her, was an incredible mother, daughter, sister and friend. She leaves behind her husband Greg (Los Angeles City Firefighter Paramedic), children Brianna, Jacob, Adam and Zoie. As well as her father Ricardo, and siblings Jesus, Lisa, Tita and Crystal. Along with dozens of friends and family she touched along the way in her short life.

The Davis's are  members of a tight-knit community with Greg's fire department family, and the kids' various Riverside school and social activities.

As members of their family and community, we are humbly asking for assistance offsetting the costs of the funeral service and memorial plans. All donations will go directly to the family as they incur the expenses associated with laying her to rest. Along with the additional costs incurred with raising a family as a single parent; whom is a dedicated first responder on the front lines for our community.

Lupe was a vivacious, loving and beautiful person and we wish to honor her legacy by laying her to rest in the manner that she deserves.

Maria Guadalupe Davis entered eternal rest on September 26, 2020. “Lupe,” as she was best known, is survived by her husband, Greg and her children Brianna, Jacob, Adam and Zoie. She also leaves behind her father, Ricardo and siblings Jesus, Elizabeth, Elvia and Crystal along with her nieces and nephews. Lupe was always confident, strong, considerate and loyal- mirroring her late mother. She always taught her children to hold those same principles and always inspired others near her to do the same. Losing her is a tremendous loss but her inspiration and our love and respect for her will never leave.
