Maria Dasilva Vicente family house fire
Donation protected
As many of you know, tragedy has hit my family very hard. The house fire was Surreal. Its going to be really tough moving foward and we as a family are trying our best to keep it together. We're not sure how this will play out. We've never been through this before and dont know the severity of things to come.
I personally went to the home last night and today to salvage what i could and to look for our puppy. Rocco is no where to be found but my neighbors are awesome and are touching base with me about any little sighting of a puppy. My Fox chase community is the best.
My nephew is doing fine with many emotional scars now. The girl he rescued is doing great and his friend Ralph is also in our prayers.
My mother is still hospitalized and the doctors say she can be there for a long time. She hasnt woken up yet and is on machines to keep her going. I tear up writing this, it hurts. It hurts badly..
Many people asked me to start a GoFundMe so here it is.
Not sure how this works, but at least keep us in your prayers and look foward to positive updates as i will share them with you all.
Thank you for the love, thank you for your help and thank you for being our new family..
Love deeply,
Maria, Rocco, Sergio, Grace, Paula, vanessa, marty, laura, chuck, Tea, Sal, and Antonio.
Thank you again, from all of us

My mother came to this country from Portugal in 1979 with 3 small children ( I was not one of them yet) and not knowing any English. She came to give us a better life. She worked her hands to the bone to save every little penny she earned so that we would have the best life possible. We lost my older brother in 2001. She was devastated, we all were. But she kept going because she had other children to think about also. She never gave up. It took her a long time but she finally had a house that was paid for. Something she could leave her children. We never in a million years imagined that it could all disappear in a matter of hours. As I'm writing this, she is not awake yet and has no idea what is waiting for her when she does wake. She lost most , if not all of the reminders that was her life. But she will never lose the memories. We'll make sure of that.
