“I haven’t reached out to many people because I’ve been going through a rough time with my family. Please send prayers to me and my family, right now my mom is fighting for her life in the ICU unit also under a controlled coma. I haven’t been back to school neither to work since the 19th of last month due to my family testing out positive for COVID-19. On the 26th both of my parents got really sick to the point where they had to rushed to the hospital and I was left behind to watch over and take care of my four younger siblings by myself. Along with the help of my cousins, family, and close friends we’ve been doing OK so far and I’ve been receiving food to eat. My dad got discharged on Wednesday of last week and still had to be put on a oxygen machine at home and I’m making sure he’s okay and that he gets his medication on time. Thankfully he’s recovering but my mom is still in deep critical condition, ever since then I was only able to see my mother through a window for these past two days. I couldn’t speak to her, it left my heart broken seeing my mother in that state. Today I received news that my mother organs were starting to fail and had to go into emergency dialysis…” This is what her daughter, Stephanie, had to say about the situation she was in.

The Mother of my friend has passed… and I can’t imagine how it must feel to lose a parent… let alone her mom. Along with the huge hole this has left in her families heart, Medical Bills and Funeral Expenses will be another growing worry they’ll be facing. No family mourning the loss of a loved one should worry about the financial part of the entire process.
