We are raising money to help Placido Cruz with the memorial for his daughter Maria Cruz who passed away.

Maria Cruz was 36 years old and left behind her 2 sons Brian 12 and Joaquin 11. The father of the 2 boys is not in the picture.

Placido Cruz and his wife will be taking care of Maria's children and raising them. In addition to having to raise his grandchildren, Placido also takes care of his now disabled son who suffered a stroke from a brain surgery who also has children that he is taking care of.

Everybody who knows Placido loves him. He is always eager to help and please those around him. I've known Placido my whole life (35 years) and no matter what life throws at him or whatever task or obstacle in his way, he approaches is the same way. With a great attitude and a smile on his face.

Its very saddening to have a loved one pass, especially having to bury one of your own children.

Placido works as a laborer in construction and doesn't have the amount of money necessary to properly have a funeral for his daughter.
