Maria Castilho, one of our co-workers at Brampton Transit, has been going through a lot of medical issues recently. She can no longer walk without a walker, go upstairs without help, or enjoy the things she used to do with her grandson. She has been in and out of the hospital, and her doctor has advised her to stop working for an unknown period of time.

As a part-time employee, Maria does not have the benefit of sick leave, and the added costs of hospital visits and doctor appointments have put a strain on her finances. We have come together to support her and her family during this difficult time. We are collecting donations to help her with her medical expenses and support her during her recovery.
