Hello friends,

With deep sorrow, I must share that my beloved mother, Maria Del Socorro Batista, has passed away. She leaves behind 3 children, a grandchild, her sister, brothers, aunts, uncles and friends. She was and will forever be the brightest star in our hearts and the most loving mother. She was kind, she was intelligent, and she was a passionate being. Everywhere she went, she shined. Everyone she met she accepted and embraced, leaving countless people with unforgettable impressions of her.

We are all devastated to see her go so suddenly and were also unprepared for the high funeral costs. We want to give Maria the memorial service she deserves to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.

We need to raise $15,000 by 9/23 to afford her funeral services. My family and I are asking for donations to help cover the costs. Please consider donating; your contribution will immensely help our family in these difficult times.
