I, Kat Ramirez along with my sisters Gina and Betty am trying to raise enough money to cover some costs needed for our parents. My father Manuel Ramirez is disabled therefore he cannot and has not been able to work since 2010. Due to certain circumstances he does not receive any type of income. My mother Maria Aviles, myself and my 2 sisters have tried to keep the household up and running helping with bills, food, medical expenses, and rent uptil now. Unfortunately my mother went into complete kidney failure and was admitted to the ICU unit at La Palma hospital on 07/06/2020. She is currently undergoing dialysis and other medical procedures due to underlying conditions she already had. Due to the strict Covid-19 restrictions, her being sedated, intubated and in critical condition we have not been able to see nor speak to her since the night of 07/06. Without her source of income and no government assistance my sisters and I have fell behind on payments since we also have our own expenses. We are asking if our friends, family, loved ones, and anyone who may be able to help to please donate whatever you can. If you are unable to donate we understand! Yo, Kathia Ramírez, junto con mis hermanas Gina y Betty, estoy tratando de recaudar suficiente dinero para cubrir algunos costos necesarios para nuestros padres. Mi padre, Manuel Ramírez, está discapacitado, por lo tanto no puede y no ha podido trabajar desde 2010. Debido a ciertas circunstancias, no recibe ningún tipo de ingreso. Mi madre, María Avilés, yo y mis dos hermanas hemos tratado de mantener el hogar en funcionamiento ayudando con las facturas, la comida, los gastos médicos y el alquiler hasta ahora. Lamentablemente, mi madre sufrió insuficiencia renal completa y fue ingresada en la unidad de cuidados intensivos en el hospital de La Palma en el dia Lunes, Julio 6, 2020. Actualmente se está sometiendo a diálisis y otros procedimientos médicos debido a afecciones subyacentes que ya tenía. Debido a las estrictas restricciones de Covid-19, y que permanece sedada, intubada y en estado crítico, no hemos podido verla ni hablar con ella desde la noche que se la llevaron los paramédicos. Sin su fuente de ingresos y sin ayuda del gobierno, mis hermanas y yo nos hemos retrasado en los pagos ya que también tenemos nuestros propios gastos. Estamos pidiendo ayuda de nuestros amigos, familiares, seres queridos y cualquier persona que pueda ayudarnos a donar lo que puedan. Si no puede donar, ¡lo entendemos! Todo el mundo está pasando por tiempos difíciles en este momento, por lo que es completamente comprensible.
