Mi nombre es Aneri Gunera , mi mama vino con visa de turista a Canada a visitarme por que estoy embarazada y ella quería ayudarme durante los 40 días , desafortunadamente le cayo cloro en la pierna derecha cuando se encontraba limpiando la casa . A los cuatro días empezó a verse que su pierna tenia un color negro , le dolía y tenia fiebre . Ella tiene diabetes tipo 2 entonces decide llevarlas al hospital de Ottawa ( Civic Hospital) el 11 de Julio .

En el hospital me dijeron que debía ser internada de inmediato debido a que tenia un shock séptico y necrotizante . Ella fue admitida a cuidados intensivos, donde recibió tratamientos y cuidados medicos . Mi mama no tiene seguro de viaje , entonces la deuda de hospital se nos hizo de $120,000. Debido que no tenemos con que pagarla ,los cirujanos plásticos del hospital de Ottawa no quisieron operarla y nos dijeron que era mejor mandar a mi mama de regreso a Nicaragua .

Mi mama necesita esa operación para poder curarse y no agarre alguna infección , hace dos días regreso a casa y necesita que llegue una enfermera a curarle su pierna cada dos días mas la medicina que esta tomando , necesitamos de la ayuda para que pueda regresar a Nicaragua lo mas antes posible y puede obtener la cirugía que fue negada acá en Canada , Para eso se necesitaría dinero ya que en mi país la salud no es gratuita y no cubre las medicinas requeridas .

We do not have the money to pay for it, the plastic surgeons at the Ottawa hospital did not want to operate on her and told us that it was better to send my mother back to Nicaragua.

My mother needs this operation to be able to cure herself and not get an infection. She returned home two days ago and needs a nurse to come to treat her leg every two days plus the medicine she is taking. We need help so she can return to Nicaragua. as soon as possible and you can obtain the surgery that was denied here in Canada. That would require money since in my country health care is not free and does not cover the required medicines.
