I am reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea for assistance during an incredibly challenging time for our family. My son Kamari is currently in the hospital, bravely fighting to recover in the acute care unit. His journey to healing is demanding, requiring intensive medical care and round-the-clock attention.

As Kamari progresses in his recovery, the next crucial step in his rehabilitation journey is physical therapy. However, the specialized care he needs is only available at a facility in Charlotte,N.C. This means that Kamari, his younger siblings, and I must temporarily relocate for a month-long stay to ensure he receives the best possible treatment.

Unfortunately, the facility in Charlotte does not have the capacity to accommodate our entire family. With no other options for childcare due to the unpredictability of Kamari's condition, I am faced with the daunting task of securing accommodations for us all. A hotel room near the facility is the safest and most practical solution, ensuring that I can be by Kamari's side while knowing his younger siblings are well cared for.

Overwhelmed with the emotional strain of Kamari's illness, this situation has also placed a significant financial burden on our family. As I remain at the hospital day and night, I am unable to work, leaving us struggling to cover not only Kamari's medical expenses but also our basic living costs.
