did you know Africa is the most impacted from climate change, yet contributes least the global emissions? it is the cradle of all life on earth, home to endemic & iconic wildlife species, and holds a wealth of indigenous knowledge that is key to survive the climate crisis.

for 1 month Behind the Greens team will be traveling & filming important stories in the village of Kilifi, Kenya, a nomadic hive of environmental action and eco-projects. we also hope to capture the story of 2000year old Boabab tree and how it inspires nature preservation and protection through music, art & culture.

during this trip our team will be hosting an ‘impact’ workshop with local African organisations involved in eco-leadership & green entrepreneurship. to help support this project we have started a the fundraiser so we can hire more local people, film more projects, and make a bigger impact!

~ half of the funds raised here will go towards filming these projects, hiring local people to share their stories, & half of the funds will be donated to directly to local environmental organisations ~
