We are so excited to announce that we are taking on a Relay Marathon on April 19th to raise as much as possible for Margo!

Stepping up to take on the miles are:

While some of us are definitely more natural runners than others, we are all training hard to make sure we give this our absolute best. We are doing this because we are determined to see Margo’s fund grow, and every donation is a huge boost to our morale as we prepare for race day.

Margo’s Marvellous Mind: Our Journey to Stem Cell Therapy

Margo is a fighter. Born on September 9th, 2023, as one of triplets, she faced a traumatic start to life.

After a high-risk pregnancy and an emergency C-section, Margo suffered a severe brain injury due to oxygen deprivation.

Doctors initially feared she might not survive. Today, Margo lives with the effects of having about 10% of her brain remaining, including high muscle tone and seizures that require heavy medication.

But Margo is so much more than a statistic—she is aware, she loves sunshine and cuddles, and she is working incredibly hard with her physio and neurology teams to gain head control and strength.

The Current Mission: A Race Against Time

We are focused on a critical window of neuroplasticity.

Research shows that the greatest benefits for brain injuries occur within the first nine months to a year.

While our original plans for a clinic in the Netherlands changed after they ceased trading, we have found a superior facility in Europe that offers advanced stem cell therapy.

How Your Support Helps

We have raised enough for Margo’s first treatment.

However, to give her the best outcome, we need to reach our goal of £130,000 to cover:

• Stem Cell Treatments: We are aiming for 6 sessions, with each session costing approximately £22,000.

• Travel from Guernsey, and accommodation

• Future Care: Savings for a second round of stem cell treatment a year down the line.

. A week block intensive physiotherapy post stem cell treatment.
