Athlete Margo Erlam who will be competing at the Paris Olympics in 2024 proudly represents Canada in Diving on the 3 Meter Springboard.

Margo was born and raised in Calgary and started diving at the age of 4 at the former Talisman Center. She was honing her skills at that very early age and became the Junior Pan Am Champion in 2012.

In 2017, Margo qualified for the Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg.

In 2018 at the age of 16 Margo made the hard decision to leave home to go to Saskatoon and train at the Saskatoon Diving Club under the tutelage of former Olympic Athlete Mary Caroll.

In June 2022, Margo was named to Canada’s 2022 Commonwealth Games Team where she won a Bronze Medal in Women’s Synchronized 3 Meter Springboard.

Immediately following Commonwealth Games Margo underwent shoulder surgery and began her therapy. Fully aware that she had limited time to be completely recovered and ready for the biggest stage of this sport, she set her mind to healing as fast and as well as she could, and, recover she did!

Margo has been a 2-time National Champion and received the second highest score ever recorded at Nationals in 3 Meter Springboard.

In May, 2024 at the Canadian Diving Trials in Windsor, Margo qualified for the Paris Olympics 2024, winning her competition on the 3 Meter Springboard.

Currently, Margo is attending the University of Saskatchewan. Being an athlete while training, traveling and going to school is a daunting task and she does it well. And now, The Olympics!
