Margo's house flood

Hello friends. I so hate to do this, but I'm afraid I need to ask for help. My house was flooded by a sewer back-up in November. Almost all of the first floor was affected - floors, walls, cabinets - all must be replaced, plus the offending sewer line under the slab of the house. My homeowners will cover the vast majority, but my out of pocket is around $12K. Having been semi-retired, working only as a part time church musician and piano teacher, this is simply beyond my means. So, I find myself appealing to the generosity of my friends.
