We're reaching out today to ask for your support in helping a wonderful woman, Margie Mejia, who is facing a critical health challenge. Margie is 79 years old and living on a fixed income. She’s a beloved mother, grandmother (Nana), neighbor, and friend — and for more than 40 years, she dedicated her life to caring for children in her home daycare, shaping countless young lives with patience, love, and gentle guidance.
Margie was the kind of caregiver every parent dreams of — nurturing, dependable, and deeply compassionate. She gave generations of children a safe, loving place to grow, and many still remember her as a second mother. Now, she needs our help.
Margie was recently diagnosed with a serious heart condition that requires a pacemaker implant to regulate her heartbeat and prevent life-threatening complications. Without this procedure, her health and quality of life are at serious risk.
Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket costs for the surgery, follow-up care, and recovery support are more than she can afford on her limited fixed income.
Margie has spent a lifetime putting others first — now it's our turn to show up for her. Every donation, no matter the size, will help Margie get the medical care she urgently needs. If you’re unable to give right now, please consider sharing this page with others.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, your prayers, and your support.
With gratitude,
