Margie Schott-Nason's Transplant
Donation protected
We're reaching out to family and friends in support to help out our mom as she received a double lung transplant on January 29th. Mom was in and out of the hospital since the begining of November as she was fighting to breath due to Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was transferred to the University of Pennsylvania and after weeks of testing she was placed on the top of the transplant list. By the grace of God mom received lungs within 2 days. She is currently still in the ICU unit and is fighting hard to come off of ventilation. You can image the financial strain this has placed on our family as we have had to take multiple days off of work and others not working at all. Any money raised will assist with ensuring all of her needs are met "Ex: gas, parking, prescriptions, other medical expenses". Once mom is released from the hospital, she will have to make multiple trips weekly to Philadelphia for the first 6 months. Any monetary contributions and continued prayers would be greatly appreciated through her recovery.
"Be that smile, that positive push, that world of hope and optimism, because we know she can do it, but we'd rather her do it with the love and support of family and friends"
