I want to share that I've been taking care of my 85-year-old mother, who has dementia. I'm also fighting a legal battle with my ex-sister and niece over guardianship. They have pushed me out of the home where I've lived with my mother for over 15 years. They tried to force me to leave my mother at a nursing home without her consent, which I cannot agree to. My mother has expressed her desire to stay away from them, and I have witnesses to support this. It's been almost 8 months since they've checked on my mom, yet they receive her social security and pension checks and keep the money secured in an account to which neither of us have access. My ex-sister and niece send her no money, and has shown they only care about the money since they haven't even reached out once to check on her. Her home is vacant because they don't want me to live there, and it's all about jealousy. We are facing financial struggles, as my food stamps don't cover all our expenses, and bills are mounting. Our internet just got shut off and our electric goes this week! I've also had to deal with costly car issues, setting me back over $1000. My caregiving responsibilities for my mother make it challenging for me to work, and I can't afford daycare as it's too expensive. We are currently living in a place without running water or a working septic system. I'm in desperate need of help to pay these bills, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
