Margene is our Italian Greyhound. She is nearly twelve years old and lives a happy life full of energy, comfort and exploring. Her life has been largely without incident other than the slightly crooked tail she was born with, and her home life is full of love and laughter.

Recently, though, we've encountered some troubling signs of a potential health issue that a specialist suspects is most likely urethral cancer. As a result, we must act quickly to diagnose and treat her condition before her quality of life is significantly impacted or before the issue ultimately becomes fatal.

Unfortunately, medical expenses for pets pile up and are not covered by insurance. We're distressed at the prospect of having to ask for money, but we wouldn't if we didn't strongly feel like Margene has a good chance at a better life on the other side of all of this. We think she deserves us doing everything we can to help her, even if it involves swallowing some pride and asking for assistance.
