Margaux’s Medical Fund

One of our best friends, Margaux, was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare type of cancer that most often occurs in and around the bones in children and young adults. While her prognosis is good and the cancer is localized to her arm, she has an extensive treatment schedule consisting of frequent visits by a home health nurse and regular chemotherapy infusions. Typically, she is on a four week schedule which consists of two days of chemotherapy infusions the first week, one day of chemotherapy infusions the second week and five days of chemotherapy infusions the third week with the fourth week off. Margaux is currently finishing up her second month of treatment. After another month she will be assessed for either radiation or surgery. This next round of treatment will last five months. Margaux is being treated at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and her parents stay in the city with her while she receives her chemotherapy.

We are hoping that with this GoFundMe, we can raise enough money to help Margaux’s parents relieve some of the financial stress brought on by medical bills and other expenses brought on by her illness.

On behalf of Margaux and her parents and sibling we thank you for your support and love.

Thanks the MNOMS (Margaux, Nikolina, Olivia, Manasvi & Sarah)
