Help Me Move to a Medically Safe Home

Helping me move from PA to FL would be a huge life-changing move. To be with my partner and be somewhere where I can have autonomy/medical help.

Hi, I’m Margaux. I live with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, POTS, and MCAS. These conditions make stairs and inclines more painful and dangerous as it progresses. Right now, I’m stuck on the third floor of an apartment in hilly Pennsylvania, and even leaving my home has become difficult.

I can still walk on flat ground, but Pennsylvania’s terrain and stair-heavy housing aren’t safe for me anymore. My partner lives in a stair-free house in a much flatter state, closer to doctors who understand my conditions. Moving there would mean better care, safety, and a more stable life. Not to meantion getting to start a life with my beautiful partner.

I’ve been laid off for a year despite applying to thousands of jobs. I’m surviving on freelance work, but I can’t afford to move on my own. I’ve gathered quotes, and full-service movers are the only real option, since I can’t physically lift or carry things myself.
