Margaret Mary Clarke Akui

On 4/8/2023 Our Mom, Sister, Nana, Nanty, Best friend, was taken from our arms in the worst way. My Aunt Margaret Clarke Akui was in a terrible fatal car accident after leaving our home in Lincoln Ca from our family birthday party. She was taken from her children Richard Akui and Maile Akui, Rebecca and Juliana Dunbarr, Nephew Daniel, Sister Kathleen, Brother James and John, also taken from her 5 grandchildren Isaiah, Emily, Richard Jr, Amelia , and Aiden, Ages 4-15. Along with countless other family and dear friends she has made over her lifetime.

We are asking for help because unfortunately Maile and Richard are In need of assistance with burial, celebration of life (the best party in all the land that she deserves!) As her wishes she will be cremated and taken to Hawaii to be with Richard Sr and her Mom in the oceans of Hawaii. Time off work for bereavement while settling her arrangements as well as her finances etc. Unfortunately she was also a struggling survivor of the paradise fires in 2018 here in CA. So please help anyway you can, anything helps and please share!

If you knew Maggie then you knew with this tragic accident, the world lost its sunshine. A true authentic loving caring attractive in nature with her smile her life and her comfort. The energy of safety that love and comfort was genuine with a heart so radiant it could change your day in a matter of seconds hearing her voice. She was taken to heaven to soon! Aunti you are loving you are kind you are open you are caring most of all you were you and you were beyond perfect and you blessed us to have this time with you. You hugged us all goodbye through the day and just 30 mins prior to this horrible accident and we told you we loved you, and you told us you loved us. We had wonderful happy hours leading to our worst nightmare. To our family and friends from all over and to the ones also blessed to know her or have crossed paths in anyway, please shed strength on our family and yours.

For the Clarke/Akui family know that no matter what she will be your sunshine on a cold and frosty day. She will be your rainbow when all seems dull and grey. She will be your moonbeam at night in the dark. She will be your bright star to show you the way home.

If there are any other items/ donations/ help or things you would like to say or send to our family please reach out to me via My FB profile with a message (link below) as well with an article of the incident itself. We do ask for some privacy during this time as things are moving quickly and fast all at once. So please if you reach out and we’re unable to get back please remember we appreciate your prayers and strength.

We love you all and thank you for your support!
