Hello! My name is Rebekah and I am raising funds to help buy my granny a hearing aid.

Recently, we discovered that my grans hearing has been declining and because of this her brain has started to lack meaning she takes a moment before being able to process what is happening.

My granny is a bright woman who loves music, dancing, laughing, movies and making memories. All of these things she is slowly losing the ability to enjoy. The minimum cost for hearing aids is £1,700. Which a pensioner of 84 years of age simply cannot afford and even as a family we can’t afford that. The NHS waiting list is so long that she’ll miss out on so much before getting seen.

SO! I’ve taken matters into my own hands. Along with my company Blether Street LTD putting on a fundraiser to raise money we are also opening this GoFundMe for anyone who feels generous to donate.

If we raise more than needed then we plan to donate the money to a hearing aid charity. And we plan to document the journey of getting hearing aids to help anyone else who might find themselves in this position one day.

My granny was a carer all her life, working up until her mid 70’s. She brought up 4 children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She still has many stories to tell and many laughs to hear. Any help from anyone is massively appreciated ❤️
