Margaret Ann was involved a bicycle accident on the 19th August 2023. She suffered a significant head injury (there was no other injuries). She was airlifted to Kings College Hospital London where she was in the Critical Care Unit, until recently in October, where she's now moved into Neurology HDU. To date she has had numerous operations, some life saving and remains under their expert and wonderful care. MA remains stable but unconscious and non responsive. She will be scheduled for a Cranioplasty (plate to replace the skull removed), but we have to wait until infection has cleared for this to happen.

We created this page so that we can more easily send all her wonderful friends updates. You should also be able to send in messages, we will read them out to her. Some people expressed the desire to donate, so we've created a GoFundMe to support her while in hospital. Just for clarity, thankfully the NHS (UK healthcare system) is free, any money will go towards helping her recovery, be it for physio etc.
